May the “floss” be with you!
Did you know that February is National Children’s Dental Health Month? It is time for dentists, moms and dads, and dental droid—2min2X-10, to make sure that children engage in great oral hygiene because the habits children start will serve them well as they grow up.
So, who is 2min2X-10? An imaginary helper to help remind kids that they should be brushing their teeth for two minutes twice a day. And that’s not all they should do! Every day, kids should be flossing between their teeth and also using their light sabers (actually their TUNG Brush and Gel) for at least ten seconds daily to get rid of the bacteria that cling to their tongues and contribute to tooth decay and bad breath. This is an important routine even if your child still has his/her baby teeth, so don’t think that just because those teeth will be replaced later the decay can’t begin!
Of course, it is also important to limit sugary snacks and eat healthy meals. And visiting the dentist twice a year is critical to long-term oral health and hygiene too.
Stay tuned for more as we at TUNG Brush and Gel, together with our droid 2min2X-10, bring you more healthy tips in Sugar Wars Episode II, coming soon to a blog near you!
